About U.N.I

Where People Matter

Understanding Needed Integration, LLC (U.N.I.) is committed to supporting children and adults with neurodivergence including intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, those with enhanced behavioral needs, and individuals who are judicially involved.

We help individuals build the skills and confidence needed to thrive. Whether it’s our 1:1 employment support, behavioral and mental health support, independent facilitation services, family and early childhood services, transitional services, school age advocacy support; we bridge the gap between community connection and accessibility. We offer our services to clients in their home, within the community, at school, and all other third space social environments, catering to the unique needs of each individual.

We believe in a fully person-centered approach to services. Each service that we provide is tailored to the individual we serve – their goals, their strengths, and their vision for their life. At U.N.I., our mission is to empower people to participate meaningfully in their communities by offering support that fosters purpose, growth, and long-term inclusion.

WHAT MAKES U.N.I DIFFERENT

We believe in the essence of
inclusion and accessibility.

Our goal at UNI is to empower our clients to sustain meaningful community inclusion through purpose, direction, and personal development. We educate and empower families of our clients with diverse and enhanced behaviors, or diagnosed with developmental and/or intellectual impairments, to understand the programs that we offer as a Regional Center vendor, and also bring awareness to their rights and protections as described under California’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Title 17 Regulations, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) law. We seek to increase opportunities for accessibility of services and inclusion within community settings for our clients, by developing services that truly support the individual.
