Connecting D.O.T.S.
(CDOTS)

Connecting D.O.T.S (Developing and Orchestrating Training Systems) is an innovative program that uses a community-driven access model to empower, educate, and train families of Early Start and school-aged Black and Hispanic individuals with IDD from disenfranchised communities, and to build a collaborative ecosystem of responsive service providers and referral sources. This program utilizes a culturally and linguistically relevant approach to provide advocacy tools, bridge service gaps, and improve access to care. Key components include community workshops, resource fairs, professional development, and a digital platform called “U.N.I. Train”, structured around a 4-phase D.O.T.S. approach.
