The Site, its contact form, and its career-interest application are not HIPAA-compliant communication channels and must not be used to send protected health information (PHI), medical records, diagnoses, treatment information, Regional Center records, insurance information, Social Security numbers, financial-account information, or other confidential information. Do not include such information in a message or uploaded document. Do not use the Site for an emergency, urgent-care need, or crisis. If there is an immediate emergency, call 911. The Site may display third-party content, such as a map, which may collect information under the third party’s own privacy policy.
SOURCES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We obtain personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site, and from service providers that operate the Site or process a form submission on our behalf.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information to:
• respond to questions, requests, and communications;

• carry out another purpose disclosed to you when we collect the information or with your consent.
We do not use Site form submissions to make decisions based solely on automated processing.
HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We may disclose information to service providers that process it only on our behalf and under appropriate contractual or legal restrictions. These providers may include our website host, WordPress and the Forminator forms plugin, email and IT/security providers, and Google Workspace. Form submissions are intended to be stored in a UNI-controlled Google Sheet and may be accessible to authorized UNI personnel who need the information for the purposes described above.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of UNI, our clients, our applicants, or others; in connection with a corporate transaction; or with your direction or consent.

The Site may use necessary cookies and related technologies for its operation, security, and functionality. Your browser may permit you to block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect Site functionality. A third-party map, link, or other embedded content is governed by the privacy practices of its provider, not this Policy. Please review that provider’s privacy policy before interacting with it.
DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy, including responding to an inquiry, administering an application, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and applicable requirements. We securely delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention obligations and technical limitations.
SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, storage system, email, or website is completely secure. Do not submit PHI or other sensitive information through the Site forms.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us at [email protected] if they believe a child provided personal information through the Site.
CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents may have the right, subject to exceptions and verification, to request: (1) the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected; (2) the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients for that information; (3) deletion of personal information; (4) correction of inaccurate personal information; and (5) information about our sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
To make a California privacy request, email [email protected] with the subject line “California Privacy Request.” Please specify the request and provide enough information for us to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. An authorized agent may make a request where permitted by law, but we may request proof of authorization and identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
California law also permits California residents to request certain information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. UNI does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
YOUR CHOICES
You may choose not to provide information through the Site, but we may be unable to respond to your inquiry or consider your application. To request correction or deletion of an inquiry or application record, contact [email protected]. We will process the request as required by applicable law and may retain limited information where lawful or necessary.
